Reinterpreting Scripture in Light of Covid

So it was that the ICU nurse died of covid-19, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The covid denying pastor also died of covid-19, and was buried.

And being in torments over his bad life choices, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and the ICU nurse in his bosom.

“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send the ICU nurse that he may give me CPR and a covid vaccine; for I am tormented that my story could end like this."

But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you believed and taught your conspiracy theories, and likewise the ICU nurse pleaded with people to be sensible; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

And besides all this, between that time and now and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that a covid shot and CPR can no longer help you.

“Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send the nurse to my church

for I have a large congregation, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of regret.’

Abraham said to him, ‘They have Fauci and the CDC; let them hear them.’

And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’

But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Fauci and the CDC, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.
