The David Barton Watch

Listening to an NPR story on David Barton tonight brought back memories. I met my first Bartonite five years ago while teaching Western Thought and Art.  He was adamant that Jefferson was a Christian. Since then I've been fascinated at the need these people have to canonize the Constitution and view the works of the Founders as divinely inspired. Rev. 22:18-19 comes to mind.
