Contrariness nails it in his blog entry entitled "Coming of Age:"
The Age of Enlightenment: "I think, therefore I am."
The Age of Entitlement: "I do because I can."
This got me wondering: what should be the motto of the Age of the Eucharist? How about this:
"God was, and is, and ever shall be,
therefore we live and move and have our being in Him.

Thanks Beth! But just FYI, I'm a 'her.' :)
Oh Ingrid, forgive me! Sometimes I get so caught up in the ideas that I make these faux pas--or whatever the plural should be... : o
I owe you an organic, fair trade dark chocolate bar!
