Today Susan left for England, and her dream of studying in Oxford has started to come true. Right about now she should be almost ready to land in Heathrow. From there its a coach and then a taxi to Wycliffe Hall.
She left with Steve at 3:30am, and had to endure a 6 hour+ layover in San Francisco.
Tonight I took Joanna to Churchill for the Ice Cream night where they give the kids their schedules. Everyone gathered outside around the rock, and it was a beautiful coo, clear evening. THe moon was half out, and Venus resplendant. Funny, that we can be here and Susan a third of the way around the planet; perhaps we will see the same stars.
My prayer tonight is for both Susan and Joanna:
May God watch over her and give her an amazing semester.
