Nominalism Mutilates Covenant Theology

IMO the Reformation trashed premodern metaphysics, and has been trying desperately to find a way of "connecting" beings ever since. Reformed folks have landed on the OT idea of "Covenant" as the solution; but understand it through the lens of nominalism, which inevitably fractures and distorts it. Subordinationism and complementarianism, are some of the results of that mutilation.

This is how we get books like Douglas Wilson's The Covenant Household

"A godly woman will know that her hair is a daily sermon on how her husband is doing. Do people look at you and see that you are cared for and that your husband treats you right? Or do they think you are hurting?"
