I loved this book as a child. I would prop it on the piano, and compose music to go with the poems.
"Oh How Do you Like to go Up in a Swing" was probably the best; in fifth grade the music teacher had kids sing it as I accompanied them. I also had music for "The Owl and the Pussycat," "Moon Song," "Gypsies. "
