Hail Joseph
Full of doubt and anger,
Emmanuel, the Lord, is with thee.
Blessed art thou among men,
and blessed is the child not born of natural descent,
Nor of human decision,
Nor a husband’s will, but born of God: Jesus.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
You were the first to see his glory, the glory of the One and Only,
Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Righteous Joseph,
foster father of Jesus, God with Us,
show us sinners the way of waiting,
Nor of human decision,
Nor a husband’s will, but born of God: Jesus.
